An AI micromarket is a smart vending setup built around a refrigerated, frozen or ambient cabinet that uses neural vision to identify products as they’re taken. Think of it as an intelligent vending machine without spirals: customers unlock the door, grab what they want, close the door, and payment happens automatically.

Neural Vision, explained

Our neural vision uses the cabinet’s three cameras plus AI models trained on your exact products.

  • 3-camera coverage. Two cameras up top, one at the bottom, so labels, shapes, and silhouettes are visible even when customers tilt or rotate items.
  • Product models per SKU. The system learns packaging, geometry, and visual cues for each item.
  • Put-back aware. If a customer changes their mind, the session reconciles correctly - no false charges.
  • Multi-item detection. Grabbing two drinks at once or a sandwich + dessert in one motion is handled.
  • Lighting tolerant. Robust to day/night cycles and reflections, the synthetic dataset generates a wide variety of possible lightings.
  • With privacy in mind. In 98% of cases, the videos never leave the device and get erased automatically. For unclear cases, only 1 video from the top camera is reviewed, and anything from beyond the device is cut out.

How accurate is recognition?

Accuracy depends on packaging distinctiveness and lighting; we’ll validate your assortment and share best practices before launch. Usually about 98% of cases are accurately determined by the device. When the neural network has a low degree of confidence, it additionally sends a video to be reviewed by a human.

How long does a transaction take?

Usually the transactions are instantaneous. In specific cases when the machine cannot determine a customer’s purchase, it may take additional time to be processed by a human, but the next customer can begin their transaction without any delay.

Can I integrate it with my systems?

Yes. We provide a RESTful API for inventory, orders, prices, loyalty, and reporting.
