We provide solutions for stores of all sizes, from separate vending machines to large hypermarkets.
How are the ESLs powered, and what is the average battery life?
ESLs are battery-powered and fully wireless. Their battery life strongly depends on ambient temperature. With 2 refreshes per day it can be 3 years (in freezers), 7 years (fridges) and 10 years for ambient temperature locations. Batteries are replaceable.
Can the ESLs display dynamic content like QR codes or promotional banners?
Yes, ESLs can be set to display dynamic contents and refresh periodically or based on rules (for example, blank out if the shelf becomes empty, or display promotions with frequent refreshes).
How does the ESL system integrate with existing inventory management software?
We are capable of fully integrating ESLs into your ERP of choice. This way you won’t have to use any additional control panels.
Are the ESLs resistant to water, dust, and extreme temperatures?
Yes, our ESLs come with protective glass over the screen, and our Freezer model comes with IP67 dust and moisture protection. They can work at extreme temperatures from -24°C to +30°C.
What sizes and display types (e.g., e-ink, LCD) are available for the ESLs?
We only offer E-ink screens as we consider this type of screen superior to other options.
How often can the pricing and product information be updated?
Updates are immediate so the pricing and product information be updated as often as you require. However, to ensure long lasting battery life we recommend updating ESLs up to 2 times a day.
Can the ESLs support multi-language displays for international retailers?
Our ESLs are not limited to any language or character types, they will display anything you require.
What is the installation process for the ESL system?
We send our ESL kits preconfigured, so you only require to connect ESL Gateway to the internet and can immediately start working.
Are there any subscription fees or ongoing service costs?
Yes, we provide cloud-based software for ESL management for a subscription fee. The amount of the fee depends on store size.
Does the system support promotional campaigns or flash sales?
Yes, the system supports automatic promotional campaigns and flash sales, with ESL templates automatic changes (both design and contents).
Can the ESLs integrate with loyalty programs?
Our control panel has loyalty programs available for you to set up and use, and ESLs can display promotional information from them.
What happens if a label is damaged or stops working — how is it replaced?
The labels are completely replaceable, so you can install a different ESL in its place and set it up to replace the broken one.
How fast do labels update?
Within seconds after approval. Updates can be rolled out by tag or chain-wide.
Can we limit AI?
Yes, you can set guardrails and limit updates for sensitive categories; you can also run rule-only pricing.
